Comment: This touristy looking brasserie on the water is a gem in disguise. Frank, the proprietor, speaks fluent English, a rarity in these parts. Seafood and salads are delicious, and Frank will assist you with anything you need, including travel questions.

Restaurant: Taste Buds
City: Tallahassee, Fl
Location: Apalachee Pkwy
Comment: Great family owned resturant. 50% vegetarian food. Everything is made fresh, even down to the salad dressings. 4 different specials each day: meat entree, veggie entree, soup dejour, and a quiche. Don't bother even looking at the menu (thought it is great), order a special. If feeling naughty that day, excellent selection of homemade desserts!

Restaurant: Los Cuevas
City:
Location: Sevilla, Spain
Comment: Fabulous! No menu. Just sit down and they start bringing food and wine until you nearly burst! A tiny mom and pop place, hidden away. Have the hotelier find the address for you and have a taxi take you there because you'll never find it!

Restaurant: KK Fiske's Restaurante
City: Washington Island, WI
Location:
Comment: What a wonderful, down home place to eat. Knotty pine walls, ceilings and long picnic tables and warm, friendly people. They feature fish boils. A huge black pot stews over an open fire just outside the restaurant, and into the pot, the owner/fisherman, Ken, throws potatoes, onions and 20-50 pounds of whitefish steaks, depending on the size of the crowd. Everybody stands around watching it stew while they sip a cold frosty one. It's a real event! Go there!

Restaurant: Dillard House
City: Dillard Georgia
Location: Dillard House P.O. Box 10 Dillard, Ga. 30537 Phone: 706.746.5348 Tollfree: 800.541.0671 E
Comment: The Dillard House, Dillard, GA http://www.dillardhouse.com/map.html For one of the most incredible truly Southern meals, visit the Dillard House in beautiful Dillard, Georgia. For breakfast at about $15, lunch and dinner each like $5 more, you will walk away with a stomach that says, "oh thank you so much, why don't you treat me this all the time." From the moment you sit down, the joy begins. Servers come with your choice of OJ, milk, coffee and water and on comes the food. A huge platter with fried pork tenderloin, amazing ham, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, eggs, toast, and more. They don't stop bringing the food until you've unbuttoned your pants and started drooling. One brown bag is allowed for leftovers. On our way to Manchester, TN (actually several hours out of our way) we made an extra day just to camp in nearby Franklin, NC, and let me tell you, the left over biscuits and pork tenderloin made a nice breakfast at the campsite the next day. (See comment about place we camped in Franklin - 6$/night at someone's family's house who made some their land into a small RV/campsite - they let you use their hot tub with the most amazing jets and settings I've seen on a hot tub. After a 12 hour drive, we listened to music, drank wine, and relaxed in the hot tub before hitting the tent.) The following is a detailed description taken from the Dillard House web site: http://www.dillardhouse.com/map.html "Nestled in the picturesque valley in the ancient North Georgia mountains, The Dillard House has been a favorite destination of travelers for decades. The Dillard House is situated in a picturesque valley in the North Georgia mountain town of Dillard. The Dillard House sits on a plateau in the Little Tennessee River Valley. From the porch the view is that of the valley surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, which geologists identify as the oldest mountains in North America. Sometimes a fog hangs in the mountain valleys, obscuring the sun. The fog actually changes colors depending on the season, light and elevation from which it is viewed. Sometimes it appears blue, gray, purple, or silver. Today it is blue-the blue that gives the Blue Ridge its name. All of our guest rooms are new or newly renovated. Charming suites and cottages are also available. You also have the option of staying in a secluded, intimate mountainside chalet. Whatever the season, beauty abounds at the Dillard House. In Spring you will be treated to acres of gardens in full bloom with tulips, rhododendron and mountain laurel. Summer offers a feast of flowers including impatiens, geraniums, dahlia, roses, hydragena and salvia. Wildflowers bloom in all seasons. Autumn in the mountains is breathtaking. Colorful foliage abounds at the Dillard House. Winter is serene and offers some wonderful views since there are no leaves to obstruct your vision. And don't forget the snow! Nothing is quite as tranquil as looking out over a snow covered valley and mountain range. Our winters are generally mild, but we are usually treated to snow several times per season. We're just two hours northeast of Atlanta, GA, near the North Carolina state line."

Restaurant: Arizona's
City: Shakopee, MN
Location: Canterbury Road
Comment: This restaurant was attached to the Park Inn & Suites hotel. The restaurant was as worn as the hotel. It was understaffed and everything was slow. I was climbing the walls and couldn't wait to get out of there.

Restaurant: Brown Pelican
City: Frederick,Md
Location: Market street, Frederick, Md
Comment: A very poor experience. Food was not cooked to order and cold when it arrived. Bread placed on table was stale and old. As for manager/ower to discuss poor food quality and service and the waitress said he was to busy. I have never experienced such POOR customer service and the establishmnents lack of concern to discuss the situation. Would strongly recommend you rethink this as a choice when going out to dinner. You will be dissapointed!

Comment: Best kept secret! This is the second time I have been to this resturant, and it is execeptional. The menu is extensive and the prices are spectacular. I haven't been to a resturant like this that offers such great food and service for the price. It is a must for the seafood lover!

Restaurant: Brown Pelican
City: Frederick,MD
Location: 3rd street
Comment: If you want to be disappointed this is the place to go. High prices, poor food and service are what it should be known for. The customer is not at all considered and the management needs customer service training. Where can you go and be ignored if you have a complaint or comment by the staff of management. Try the Brown Pelican for an example of what a resturant shouldn't be like!
